5 vegan-friendly stocking filler ideas!

Vegan stocking fillers

So the time of year we've all been waiting for is just around the corner and we're rapidly running out of those vital shopping days before Christmas is finally here.

When it comes to filling a vegan's stocking, a clementine just won't cut it - so here's a list of five fab gifts for the vegan in your life that you've still got (just about) enough time to pick up before the big day.

Superdrug B.Clean Melting Gel Cleanser

Superdrug B.Clean Melting Gel Cleanser

If your giftee is anything like me, skincare will always go down a treat. This B. Clean Melting Gel Cleanser is my absolute fave for removing the stubbornest traces of makeup and leaving even sensitive or dry skin feeling clean and soft.
It dispenses from the tube as a clear, odorless gel, breaks down into an oil as you work into the skin, before melting into a milk on contact with water. Sheer Christmas magic.

You can pick this up in Superdrug for a mere £3.47 right now (usually £6.99) - that's if I don't buy the lot before you.

Barry M Christmas Tree & Jingle Bells Limited Edition Christmas 2014

Next on the list is nail polish and - although I'm sure my other half would beg to differ - a girl can never have enough nail polishes. Barry M polishes are great - they have a nice consistency, they're easy to use, they come in just shy of a million colours, and they're vegan-friendly!

These two shades - Christmas Tree and Jingle Bells - are limited edition for Christmas, and are exclusive to Superdrug. Each one comes in at a bargainous £3.99, but if you spend over £6 on Barry M at Superdrug right now, you can take home Jingle Bells for free!

Plamil organic dairy free snowmen vegan chocolate

Hello! What's that? Vegan chocolate shaped like snowmen? Yep.

These Plamil Dairy Free Milk Chocolate Snowmen are pretty darn festive and pretty darn tasty. In fact, I had to go out and buy a second bag of these to photograph because... well... I ate the first one. What you gonna do?

Luckily, these little blighters are available in Holland & Barrett, where I also picked up this Choices Dairy Free White Chocolate Santa half price. Score.

Harper's Bizarre Jingle Bells Christmas vegan candle

Harper's Bizarre Jingle Bells Christmas vegan candle

I fell in love with Harper's Bizarre candles back at the North East Vegan Festival where I got in the way of several people smelling every candle within my grasp until I could smell no more. When this limited edition Jingle Bells candle arrived in this month's Vegan Kind box... I was excited (understatement).

Luckily it doesn't disappoint - 'spiced wine, soft pears and oranges' is the description and that's pretty spot on. Not as harshly spiced as other Christmas candles, a soft, warming scent which is cruelty free and well worth the £8 price tag.

Vegan Life magazine subscription

And last but not least, a year's subscription to the brilliant Vegan Life Magazine would get you some serious brownie points this Christmas and secure your place on the nice list.

Packed with recipes, interviews, features, events and the very latest in all things vegan, a digital 12 month subscription would set you back a mere £24.50 and, best of all? You don't even have to leave the sofa to purchase one. Win-win. Click here to read more of my thoughts about Vegan Life Magazine and keep an eye out for more features on the magazine soon!

Merry Christmas!
